France is the largest country in the European Union and is a global hub of science, art, tourism and philosophy. It is the sixth largest economy in the world by nominal GDP and has the ninth largest purchasing power parity on the globe. Currently it is home to over 66 million people and the number keeps growing as more and more people are moving to France in order to commence a new chapter in their lives.

Nantes

Nantes is the sixth largest city in France and has an estimate population of 900.000 people (metropolitan area included). It is one of the safest cities in the country and has one of the highest quality of life ratios in the European Union. In 2013, it won the European Green Capital Award due to its top notch public transportation network, decreasing air pollution and increase of green areas. Nantes is home to some of France’s most visited and well-known landmarks such as St. Nicolas Basilica, Le Lieu Unique, La Villa Ocupada, Chateau des Ducs de Bretagne, Jardin des Plantes and more.

Grenoble

Located at the food of the French Alps, Grenoble is one of the oldest cities in France as it dates back over 2.000 years ago. In 1968, the city hosted the tenth Winter Olympic Games. Grenoble has a population of about 160.000 people. It is the location of a number of world famous touristic sites such as:

Paris

The French capital is one of the largest, most populous (c. 12 million people metropolitan area included) and developed cities in Europe and the world. It is one of the most visited places on Earth as it is home to a number of internationally renowned museums, parklands, monuments, attractions, buildings and entertainment venues. The main disadvantage of Paris is that it is one of the most expensive cities in the European Union which can setback the acclimatisation period of newcomers.
